Poppert Milling kiln dries Alaska Birch, Cottonwood, and Spruce for use as tougue and groove flooring, paneling, and cabinet stock. We also mill a variety of architectural moldings. We can match moulding and siding profiles no longer available for purchase. All orders are custom made as per the customers specifications. Because of the unique characteristics of Alaska Birch (a mixture of heart and sap wood), each floor, cabinet set and wall paneling are uniquely the customers. Cottonwood also has a variety of possible color combinations, with greys, browns and blues that really brings out the colors of each room.

We also offer a variety of cabin packages, as well as rough cut timbers, 3 sided house logs, as well as custom cutting and drying the owner's own wood. Quite a few of our customers have brought us the trees they cleared for the building of their new home and we turned it into flooring or paneling for them.
